Outrigger Cocktail Recipe
The Outrigger Cocktail is a classic tiki drink that was popularized during the mid-20th century tiki bar era. It is a tropical and refreshing concoction that embodies the spirit of exotic beachside destinations.
Yield: 1 Cocktail
Materials
- Fine Sugar to rim glass
- 1 Lemon wedge to rim glass
- 1 1/2 ounces Gold Barbados Rum
- 3/4 ounce Triple Sec
- 3/4 ounce freshly squeezed Lemon Juice
Instructions
- Pour a layer of sugar out onto a small saucer.
- Run lemon wedge around the rim of a Coupe, Margarita, Martini or other glass, of choice. Discard wedge.
- Place glass rim-down onto the sugar. Push down lightly and roll glass to fully rim with sugar. Set aside and prepare drink.
