Materials

  • 1 pint Water
  • 1 pint Rice Vinegar
  • 1 teaspoon Mustard Seed
  • 1 teaspoon Black Pepper whole
  • 1 teaspoon Allspice whole
  • 2 Bay Leaves
  • 1/2 cup Sugar
  • 1/4 cup Salt
  • 6 Hardboiled Eggs peeled

Instructions

  • In a large pot, combine all ingredients except eggs.
  • Place pot on the stove and warm until sugar and salt are dissolved.
  • Remove from heat and set aside to allow the pickling liquid to cool.
  • When cool, place the eggs in the liquid. Let set for at least 24 hours
