Mingo Creek is a Rye Whiskey cocktail created at the Rob Roy Classic Cocktail Bar in Seattle by Tara McLaughlin.
This Manhattan Riff is named after the Mingo Creek Association, who are believed to be one of the leading forces behind the Whiskey Rebellion of 1791.

Rob Roy, Classic Cocktail Bar
Opened in 2009, Rob Roy is a classic cocktail bar and an institution in Seattle’s Belltown neighborhood.
The decor has been described as “Mid-century chic meets ‘70s era man cave. There are long-slung, tube-shaped ceiling lights, bucket-seat bar stools, lots of tufted leather, and shelves of vintage vinyl.*”
Their takes on the classic cocktails are what you go to Rob Roy for, but the ever-changing cocktail list contains lots of inviting new concoctions, too. Like the Mingo Creek.
