Absinthe
Absinthe is a highly alcoholic, highly flavored spirit known for its distinctive green color and historical association with artists, writers and bohemian culture (Vincent Van Gogh, Oscar Wilde and Ernest Hemingway were devotees).
While it has been traditionally enjoyed as a drink, often in a complex ritual involving dripping it slowing over a sugar cube held on an Absinthe Spoon, it is more often seen today as a strong flavoring agent in craft cocktails, such as The Sazerac, Death in the Afternoon, Corpse Reviver No. 2 and Smoky Bear.
