Orgeat

Orgeat (pronounced or-zhah) is a sweet syrup made from almonds, sugar and water. It is commonly used as an ingredient in cocktails, especially in tiki-style drinks. Orgeat adds a distinct nutty and sweet flavor, as well as a creamy texture, to beverages.

Orgeat syrup is a key ingredient in many classic cocktails, especially Tiki drinks, including The Mai Tai, Japanese Cocktail and Zombie.
